MATERIAL
Concrete, kerbstones, granite sets, marble, and gravestones, paving slabs, old asphalt, bricks, blocks, tiles, porcelain and flint, etc... down to a size ranging from 100mm to 5mm.
OUTPUT
Output will vary according to jaw setting (up to 40 ton per day), input material, loading equipment, loading method and familiarity of the loader.
HOPPER SIZE & JAWS
The hopper size has a maximum area of load of 500x200mm to any length. The jaws are hydraulically adjusted by a lever, which also allows for the quick release of material. In addition, a reverse ‘upwards' action to release any jams that may occur.
REINFORCED CONCRETE & STEEL
For steel and reinforced concrete the conveyor must be removed - this takes approximately 6 minutes.
ENGINE
25HP water-cooled diesel. A full tank of diesel will last for roughly 10 hours using only 3 litres of diesel per hour on full throttle.
TRACKS AND CONTROLS
The crusher will climb a 30-degree incline and turn full circle on the spot with controls being hydraulic lever type which are clearly labelled for there purpose. Tracks are rubber.
CONVEYOR AND DUST SUPPRESSION
The speed of the belt is adjustable. The conveyor can be removed in under 6 minutes if reinforced concrete/re-bar is present. Dust suppression can be provided by the means of fine water spray nozzles on the conveyor, using a standard domestic hose fitting.
SCREENER
An optional conveyor mounted screener is available. This will accept various decks from 5mm mesh to 35 mm. The screener takes only a few minutes to attach or detach. This will separate dust, topsoil and fine chippings from your crushing process.
SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
There are two emergency cut-out switches, one on each side of the machine. All doors have safety cut-out switches. Bearing nipples should be greased 4 shots every 10 hours.
LOADING
Maximum productivity is achieved by correct loading of the crusher. The most effective method is with a 3 ton digger fitted with an 18" bucket. A constant and regular feed of material, loaded from the rear of the machine and from a height which allows continual observation of the jaws, whilst utilising the full length of the hopper is best. The hopper and jaw aperture should not be swamped as this will cause jams.
